We also host special events and some of Canada’s biggest chess tournaments, making us a top destination for chess lovers across the country. GM Hikaru Nakamura even joined us for an afternoon of blitz!
Casual Play
Not up for a 4-hour classical game? For a laid-back experience, we also host casual play that’s welcome to all most Monday nights. Come play blitz, bullet, or even bughouse!
About ACC
Founded in 2010, Annex Chess Club is a volunteer-led, not-for-profit organization focused on making chess accessible to everyone.
ACC’s central location in downtown Toronto is easily accessible via TTC.
