Short-Term Memberships

Visiting the 6ix? Not sure about committing? No problem! We offer drop-in memberships for one night, as well as monthly memberships.

Note: you will need to have a club membership for two months if you would like to play a full five-week club tournament in its entirety.

Long-Term Memberships

Need a weekly chess fix? Come and play chess for 40+ nights in a year! Our half-year and annual membership rates offer the best value. Seniors, juniors, students, and immediate family members enjoy a 20% discount.

Membership Types

Casual / TWCC

A casual membership includes unlimited access to our casual play area from 6:30 pm to 11:30 pm on club nights. Join us for a fun, relaxed evening of chess and quiet conversation. You can play with a clock or without, analyze games, whatever you wish!

For women, this includes access to the Toronto Women’s Chess Club lectures. More information here.

Youth Tournament [Currently Suspended]

A youth tournament membership includes casual play as well as access to our weekly youth tournaments. More information here. *Note: youths wishing to play in our open club tournaments need to purchase a club tournament membership for juniors.

CFC Membership

Looking to play in a rated tournament? You will also need a membership with the Chess Federation of Canada.
